AE Solar is a German tier 1 solar panels manufacturer founded in Königsbrunn, Germany in 2003, by 3 brothers; Alexander, Victor and Waldemar Maier.[1] The company is headquartered in Königsbrunn and has a presence in more than 95 countries, covering Africa, Asia-Pacific, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America and South America.

AE Solar produces both polycrystalline and monocrystalline photovoltaic modules (solar panels), also the world’s first Smart Shading Resistant Hot-spot Free PV module[6] – which uses bypass diodes between each cell to avoid shading consequences.
